FILMINUTE is the international one-minute film festival that challenges filmmakers, writers, animators, artists, designers, and creative producers to develop and submit the world's best one-minute films.
WHAT MAKES A GREAT ONE-MINUTE FILM? The best one-minute films resonate beyond one minute and affect audiences the same way any great film does. The challenge, of course, is to do it all in 60 seconds - no more, no less.
FILMINUTE 2014 UNDERWAY! SEPTEMBER 1-30.This year 18 countries are represented in this moving and very humorous collection of superb one-minute films. Throughout the month of September you can watch, rate, comment and help decide the People’s Choice by voting for your favourite (one vote per person!). Filminute’s international jury will decide Best Filminute. This year Filminute will also once again offer the CineCoup prize which will land one of the filmmakers with $2,500 dollars from the popular Canadian film accelerator.
Join our Facebook & Twitter pages for updates during the festival and be sure to share your favourite films with your friends! The Filminute 2014 awards will be announced October 9th
