Past jurors include Richard Linklater, Hou Hsiao-Hsien, Neill Blomkamp, Cathy Schulman, Stefan Sagmeister, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Radu Jude, Samira Makhmalbaf and Michael Ondaatje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The jury awards Best Filminute, Best Performance and five Jury Commendations. She has produced 20 films with New Romanian Cinema director Radu Jude, worked with Franco Zeffirelli, and was executive producer of the popular film, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt4048272\/\">Toni Erdmann<\/a>, which premiered at Cannes and won five European Film Awards in 2016, including Best Film. She went on to write a string of award-winning screenplays, including<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Journey_of_Hope\"> <em>Journey of Hope<\/em><\/a><em>,<\/em>\u00a0which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film at the 63rd Academy Awards.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-4d887f2766d32eb81205b2178875115f\" style=\"color:#fff1e9\">Feride has also&nbsp;published and edited books, fiction and non-fiction, served as Secretary General of the Turkish Cinema Foundation, and, since 1999, been a popular lecturer at Istanbul\u2019s Bilgi University. Keen-eyed Filminute fans will have spotted the Turkish films on our shortlists over the past decade. Few people have seen cinema from so many angles: critic, consultant, selector. Since 2020, she has sat on the feature film selection committee at the prestigious Locarno Film Festival.<br><br>Pamela first served on the Filminute jury way back in 2009. Seventeen years on, we\u2019re truly thrilled to have her back for the festival\u2019s 18th edition!
