This year we welcome renowned Taiwanese director HOU HSIAO-HSIEN, acclaimed author JOHN VAILLANT, film journalist and FIPPRESCI Vice President BARBARA HOLLENDER, award-winning writer / director MOTKE DAPP, writer, artist & Santa Maddalena advisory board member NAYLA ELAMIN & last year's Best Filminute winner GUILLAUME RENUSSON. Together with John Ketchum and Sabaa Quao from Filminute, they will select the Best Filminute and will also award 5 Jury Commendations.

PEOPLE’S CHOICE – You decide! Audiences are encouraged to rate and comment on the films, as well as to vote for their favourite film in the collection. You will be presented with voting options at the end of each film. However, CHOOSE CAREFULLY! Because you only get ONE VOTE! And, as important as ever, SHARE your favorite films via social media. Filminute audiences grow dramatically when we share the films, and the filmmakers appreciate it!

TOP RATED - You decide! Audiences are encouraged to rate the films, from 1 - 5 stars, 5 being perfect!

CINECOUP

The CineCoup Film Accelerator delivers production financing and guaranteed distribution to indie filmmakers.
Since 2013, CineCoup has offered the annual CineCoup Prize (worth $2,500 CAN) to the film from our collection that they feel best exemplifies the qualities of innovation and courage in filmmaking, as well as development potential.
This year, the CineCoup team has awarded the CineCoup prize to A2042 from Spanish director, David Castro Gonzales. They praised the film's ability to pack so much narrative, emotional and production-value punch into a single shot, single actor, single take story. "Brilliant filmmaking," concluded one of their jury.
We encourage you to watch A2042 again  and to visit www.cinecoup.com to learn more about CineCoup's disruptive business model and latest films.
